53 undergraduate and graduate Nursing students from the 成人直播 were inducted into the Kappa Zeta-at-Large Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nurses in a ceremony that featured Debra Kramlich, Ph.D., R.N., CNE, CCRN-K, assistant professor of Nursing, as the keynote speaker.

Founded in 1922 by six nurses at the Indiana University Training School for Nurses, STTI now has roughly 520 chapters with more than 135,000 active members residing in more than 90 countries worldwide. Locally, the honor society invites graduate and senior undergraduate nursing students from nursing programs at 成人直播, Saint Joseph鈥檚 College of Maine and the University of Southern Maine who have demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum 3.5 GPA to become members. Additionally, licensed nurses with at least a baccalaureate degree and demonstrate excellence in leadership, scholarship, and service are eligible to apply for membership. Nathan Desjardins was among the 成人直播 students honored at this year鈥檚 ceremony. The police officer about to enter his final year of nursing school was inducted posthumously after dying in the line of duty while on a rescue mission on the Saco River.
