C-SPAN features 成人直播 in two segments as part of 鈥淐ities Tour鈥 series
C-SPAN featured two segments about the 成人直播 as part of its 鈥淐ities Tour鈥 series about Portland, Maine. The tour travels to various cities around the nation, interviewing local historians, politicians and authors.
One segment highlighted the Maine Women Writers Collection at 成人直播, which preserves the writings of Maine Women who have achieved literary recognition, as well as unpublished works such as journals and diaries. Jennifer Tuttle, Ph.D., director of the collection, displayed a number of notable works including journals from Eleanor Hamlin of Portland from the 1940s, arctic explorer Josephine Diebitsch Peary and letters between Sarah Orne Jewett and Annie Fields.
C-SPAN also featured Elizabeth De Wolfe, Ph.D., professor of History, director of the Liberal Studies Program, and affiliated faculty in the Women's and Gender Studies Program. De Wolfe discussed her book Shaking the Faith, which shares the story of former Shaker Mary Marshall Dyer鈥檚 50 year campaign to denounce the Shaker religion and win back the custody of her children.
