Michael Burman joins Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives
In recognition of his prominent outreach and research contributions to the field of neuroscience, Michael Burman, Ph.D., associate professor and Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences K-12 outreach coordinator, was invited to join the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives.
The Dana Alliance was launched in 1993 by the Dana foundation to advance public awareness and education about the progress and promise of brain research. It has 550 members worldwide including over 9 Nobel laureates. Members must be recognized leaders in their field and make a personal commitment to participate in outreach and educational activities. Burman served as a consultant to the Dana Foundation for several years.
