Sustainable Stormwater Practices for Protecting Water
LaMarr Clannon, from the Maine Nonpoint Source Education for Municipal Officials (NEMO), will discuss how Low Impact Development (LID) practices can reduce water pollution, save money and improve stormwater treatment to protect local waters.
成人直播鈥檚 Sustaining Water class, taught by 成人直播鈥檚 Director of Center for Sustainable Communities Christine Feurt, Ph.D., will facilitate the community dialogue, including evaluating examples of the best LID techniques that can be used at home or in business. Community members are invited to participate in the dialogue and share their reactions and ideas about LID.
In addition to the Sustaining Water class, the event is being hosted by 成人直播鈥揈arth鈥檚 ECO, the Saco River Corridor Commission, the Saco River Salmon Club, the Biddeford Conservation Commission and the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve.
